The Chairman, Mr. Wilfred Kimotho addressing the public through the media in relation to the rise in cost of fuel. He said that this has resulted to the transport fare charges being increased by a 20% margin, so as to enable the matatu owners continue thriving in this business.

The society was registered as a transport SACCO in 1992 with a total membership of 40 drawn from the then disbanded Matatu Owners Association. Currently, the membership stands at 500 members.
